In the post-war era, Western aesthetics shifted toward Streamline and Modernist styles. Lanson needed an ultra-thin device that could fit perfectly in a suit pocket without disrupting the sharp lines of formal wear.

Target Audience: High-income political and business elites, distinguished gentlemen, and refined men who demand excellence in personal accessories.

Design Features: Ultra-Thin Streamlined Design: Internal transmission gears and linkage rods have been miniaturized to the extreme, resulting in exceptionally smooth and elegant side profiles.

Single-slot blind cap design: To reduce thickness, we eliminated the traditional dual-bottom screw layout and integrated fueling and flint replacement into one oversized single-slot blind cap screw at the base.

Series Patent Timeline: The core ultra-thin mechanical linkage patent was submitted by Lansong engineers to the U.S. Patent Office in 1946 and officially granted on 9, 1949 (U.S. Core Patent No.: U.S. PAT. 2481195).

Production period: First launched around 1947/1948 and produced through the mid-to-late 1950s.
